Custom ReportsUse BeerSmith 1.3 to create your own custom report templates using any of the BeerXML tags. Template files may be either Web or Plain Text formats. BeerSmith uses a simple template system that allows you to insert fields anywhere in an XML, HTML or TXT document that will be replaced by the actual data. BeerSmith supports nearly all of the BeerXML data tags, plus additional tags. All tags should be inserted as "$TAG_NAME". Here is a simple hops template in text. Creating a template in Web (HTML) format is no different, and web formats allow you to define custom backgrounds, colors, images for beer labels and more. Sample templates are available in the: C:\Program Files\BeerSmith\templates directory. Sample Hops Template (Text): Name: $NAME
